DESCRIPTION
NRA Certified RSO’s looking to become a Chief RSO must take a CRSO course put on by a Training Counselor who holds the Chief RSO rating. This 9-hour class includes standard operating procedures, inspections, emergency procedures, firearm stoppages and malfunctions, safety briefings. Students must demonstrate organizational and teaching skills via participation in practical exercises and complete an open book exam. Once the course is completed the RSO will be upgraded to a NRA Chief Range Safety Officer.

EQUIPMENT

  • There is NO LIVE FIRE in this program.
  • All instruction occurs in the classroom.
  • All equipment is provided.
  • Bring with you your RSO training manual.
  • 1” spine, 3-Ring Binder for NRA training manual/materials.
  • We recommend you bring a lunch with you.

EVENT REGISTRATION TERMS & CONDITIONS
Course Transfer: With 72-hour advance notice of the event date we will issue a unique re-registration code for course transfers.
Cancellation Refund: Refunds for 50% balance of event fee, if no transfer is possible, are issued in the form of store gift cards only but ONLY if we are notified of the cancelation up to 72 hours in advance of the event date.
No-Call/No-Show: Participants who do not show to the event without prior 72-hour notice forfeit their total registration fees.
Same Day Cancelations: Same day cancelations are non-refundable as spots in classes are quick to fill and we will be unable to resell that spot in the event or give an individual on a waitlist adequate time to purchase that spot.
